Digital agency Freestyle Interactive has announced that it is working with Refuge to provide Christmas presents for children in refuges in the Midlands/Warwickshire area.

The initiative is taking place instead of the agency’s usual £10 Secret Santa.

Refuge is an organisation that offers support and shelter for women and children from domestic violence.

The agency is asking the public to tweet gift tag messages with the hashtag #tweetsfortoys.

Freestyle Interactive said: “We’ll pick the best 20 messages every day from now until Christmas and donate a toy on your behalf.”

A gallery on the website allows tweeters to see if their message was chosen.
