Elizabeth Taylor, Wayne Rooney and Charlie Sheen top Twitter trends lists for 2011
With just over three weeks of the year left, Twitter has announced its top trends for 2011, which includes Elizabeth Taylor, Charlie Sheen Wayne Rooney.
The social networking site has released its top five trending topics across a number of sectors, with Thor coming top of the movies list, Rebecca Black and her debut single ‘Friday’ topping the music list and Elizabeth Taylor, who died this year, heading up the actress list.
Elsewhere, Charlie Sheen was the most discussed actor on Twitter this year, while Wayne Rooney was most tweeted about footballer, with Ryan Giggs nowhere to be found on the list surprisingly.
