TheEword makes Nolan MD as Mackin becomes CEO

Search marketing agency theEword has restructured its management team in a move that sees managing director Al Mackin become chief executive officer.

General manager Daniel Nolan will step into the managing director post, overseeing the day-to-day running of the Manchester agency. Mackin will concentrate on the company's business development plan.

Mackin said: "Daniel Nolan has been an outstanding general manager, and with his knowledge of the industry and his experience, I’m confident that he’ll continue to help us drive the company forwards."

The changes were announced on the back of theEword claiming that its turnover has increased by more than 50 percent year-on-year during 2010.

It is also predicts that its turnover for the financial year to April 2012 is expected to rise by 58 percent to £2.2m, compared with £1.4m in April 2011.
