Furniture retailer DFS has appointed Krow to oversee its advertising, beating Karmarama to the account.

The account, previously held by Uber, which will continue to work with the brand in some capacity it is understood, is thought to be worth around £84m.

Earlier this year the company also consolidated its media account within MediaCom.

The review was overseen by the AAR.

Ian Filby, CEO of DFS, commented:“Following the acquisition of DFS by Advent International last year we have embarked on a journey to cement and build DFS’ reputation as a world class British company. We have appointed krow to help us on that journey; tasking them with building a stronger, more appealing brand with a new approach to advertising and communications, and building on the excellent work of the past years”.
