Blipfoto has today announced that it is creating a Saltire-centered film called ‘Scotland the world over’, to celebrate the global reach of both the company and the country.

The film, which will be created frame-by-frame from images sent in from members of the public with a Saltire in the middle of the picture, is being created with support from the Scottish Government.

Blipfoto has said that all contributors to the film, which is to be launched on Burns Day 2012 – 25 January – will get a credit. While the film will have a Scottish theme, the company is aiming for as many different people from as many different countries and cultures as possible to take part.
