Thorntons Facebook app developed by Michon for online Christmas campaign

As part of its online Christmas marketing campaign, Thorntons has released a bespoke Facebook app to highlight daily special offers and voucher codes,

Developed by Michon, the app includes an interactive snowglobe which shares special offers and codes, as well as facts about popular Christmas traditions and memories.

A competition has also been launched to win one of 100 personalised boxes of chocolates, with users encouraged to upload a picture of their favourite Christmas memory, with the best image winning a box.

The biggest prize on offer is a Christmas hamper, which can be won through voting for the one thing that ‘Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without’.

The app has been developed in HTML 5 and is compatible with iphones and Ipads, alongside other smartphone and mobile devices.
