ITV completes the acquisition of Channel Television
ITV has now completed the acquisition of Channel 3 licence holder Channel Television.
The commercial broadcaster announced that an agreement had been agreed with Yattendon to make the acquisition on 18 October.
The agreement has now been approved by the Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority, although details have not been revealed.
This brings the number of Channel 3 licence holders owned by ITV to 12 out of the 15 holders.
