Asda has announced a Christmas campaign in which it will extend its £5 bonus offer under its Price Guarantee.
The retailer, which has recently been offering £5 off to all consumers who spend over £40 on groceries, will extend this offer from tomorrow (25 November) through until 15 January 2012.
The initial bonus scheme launched in October and was extended due to demand.
A spokesperson for Asda said: “The APG £5 thank you was extremely popular with customers; and now the offer just got better."
They continued: “We know that around half of our customers are worried about being able to afford the Christmas their families deserve. The latest income tracker predicts that the amount of disposable income available to UK families in December will be £8 a week lower than in December 2010 and that is why we are doing everything we can to help ease the pressure.
“We are offering the most powerful price commitment in the industry which includes a £5 bonus on top of our promise to be 10% better value than other supermarkets.”
