Digital democracy company, Delib has launched an updated version of Thames Water’s consultation website, Thames Tunnels.

The website is an integral part of London Tideway Tunnels and Thames Water’s 14-week consultation exercise about the proposed scheme to upgrade the Thames’ sewer system to cope with the demands and (and detritus) of the 21st century.

Information about the sewage problem, solutions and proposed routes are all available on the website, which incorporates Scribd, Vimeo and Google maps into its design.

Visitors can share their views and complete surveys using Delib’s specially designed app, Quick Consult.

Commenting on the Delib blog, head of production at the agency Alex Pitkin said: “A lot of hard work has gone into getting this site live... We are very proud to be a part of the project and look forward to our app providing a platform for engaging the public gathering their opinions.
