former Mindshare head of digital Valoti joins O2 as head of media business
02 UK has appointed ex-head of digital at Mindshare, Claire Valoti, as managing director of its media business. Valoti takes up her post at O2 on 3rd January 2012.
During her time at Mindshare Valoti worked across most client sectors including automotive, finance and FMCG, as well as helping to build and shape the digital team. Most recently she developed Mindshare's mobile offering.
Commenting on Valoti’s appointment, Tim Sefton, Telefonica’s new business director in the UK said: “Claire has impressive and relevant experience that makes her the ideal choice as the Managing Director of O2 Media I’m looking forward to using her skills to evolve and grow O2 Media further.”
Valoti replaces Shaun Gregory who has moved on to a new role in Telefónica Digital.
