Nuts launches Android app and ‘girls of Nuts’ collector’s edition magazine

Nuts magazine has today announced the launch of an Android app, created by Always On Message, as well as a one-shot ‘the girls of Nuts’ collector’s edition bumper magazine.

The app is available for download from today, allowing users to access pictures of their favourite Nuts cover girls. It comes with a free starter pack of images, with users having the option of downloading further content through SMS payments.

The 100-page one-shot magazine, priced £4.99, will go on sale next Thursday for 12 weeks, and will include Gemma Merna and Jorgie Porter from Hollyoaks, Dancing On Ice's Jennifer Metcalfe and Sam and Billie Faiers from The Only Way Is Essex.

James Thrower, publisher of Nuts, said: “The Nuts brand reaches around 1.3 million young men every week across print, online and mobile. These exciting new brand extensions tap into our audiences’ appetite to consume more of our core content in different ways and on different platforms.

“The app builds on the success of our mobile optimised site for those who like to get Nuts on-the-go, whereas the one-shot gives fans a collectable, premium Nuts experience in print.”
