Leeds agency Fox Communications has won a competitive pitch to design and develop the website for the net315 project, which aims to foster new business growth in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Fox was handed the brief by Leeds City College and the 12 partners behind net315. Their aim is to establish 315 new businesses in the region and the website will provide a central source of information about the project's progress.

It will include support, information and guidance to help college students start their own businesses and it will detail news and events.

Fox Communications director Ben Fox said: "It’s exciting to think that this could be a catalyst for producing 315 new business enterprises in the coming months. The website will be a hugely useful resource for all involved in this inspiring project.

"As well as Leeds City College, all further education colleges and specialist partners can update the site themselves, as well as use it to collaborate with each other. This should all make for an information-packed resource to help fledging businesses."

The site is due to go live this month.
