Regis Salons has launched a social media campaign to find the UK's most coveted hairstyles.

The 'Locks Rock & Load' competition, created by Manchester agency Photolink, encourages fans of the salon chain to upload their style to the Regis Facebook app for the chance to win prizes.

TV presenter Emma Willis, who was today announced as the new face of Regis, will be among a panel of judges that picks the best hairstyle.

The winner will receive a year's worth of Regis hair services and a Canon digital camera, while 10 more finalists will get a free cut and colour at a Regis salon.

‘Locks Rock & Load’ will be promoted through a Facebook Ads campaign, UK-wide in-store activity, email marketing and a blogger outreach programme.

Joanna Halton, Photolink's social media manager, said: " The ultimate aim of ‘Locks Rock & Load’ is of course to drive footfall into Regis Salons, and this campaign communicates Regis’ chic, fashion-forward personality perfectly.

“This is a great cross-channel campaign, including social, mobile and offline and is the first campaign of its type to be executed by a hair salon brand.
