A Mexican football club hopes to increase its following online by printing its players' Twitter handles on the back of their shirts.

While Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has no time for his players tweeting, the Primera Division side Jaguares has gone to the trouble of printing each player's official Twitter address underneath their squad number.

The Twitter handle of beer brand sponsor Cerveza Sol also gets a namecheck on the back of every strip.

Jaguares is not the first football club to embrace Twitter, however. Spanish side Valencia printed its club Twitter handle on the front of its shirts for this season in place of a commercial sponsor.
