The University of Leeds is seeking a agency to deliver its direct marketing targeting over 160,000 former students.

The University will tender for an agency to take on the four-year-contract, to provide direct mail, press and digital appeals in order to support its Footsteps Fund alumni fundraising.

The Fund aims to support the University’s students and its research activity, with around 2% of former students donating to the fund each year, while the University also runs an in-house telemarketing department that recruits over 80% of donors.

The contract will initially run for a year, with three possible annual extensions, beginning on 1 January 2012.

Requests to participate will be accepted until 6 December.

Updated: The University has asked The Drum to highlight the e-tender site through which agencies can apply https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofleeds/ and has said that the document should be up at some stage this week.
