The Weather Channel launches interactive iPad app
The Weather Channel has launched a new iPad app which visualises conditions around the world on an interactive 3D globe.
Other features include changing the iPad's home screen to match local conditions, a detailed weather forecast screen, news articles and HD video reports.
"In the age of the interactive social experience, we know weather information needs to be visual, accurate and at your fingertips," said Cameron Clayton, executive vice president of digital product at The Weather Channel Companies.
