Nokia has unveiled a sci-fi vision of the future in the form of the Nokia Kinect, a seemingly ordinary screen which is transferred to the realms of the extraordinary when bent.

When pressure is applied at either end of the phone the device will twist, flex and buckle in an organic way.

More than just a gimmick these actions can actually be used to perform specific actions, for instance when twisted in opposite directions by both hands it will scroll through media collections.

Bending the display inward or outward meanwhile controls zoom for photos or to pause and play music.

Nokia Kinetic strictly remains a prototype for now but no word has been given on when (if ever) a production ready version will appear.
