Former Bray Leino client services director Carroll to head up Golley Slater Wales

Nick Carroll, former client service director for Bray Leino, has been appointed at the new managing director of Golley Slater Wales.

Carroll, who has worked in advertising for 14 years, will be tasked with leading the advertising team for Golley Slater, while building connections with businesses across Wales and the UK, while working alongside clients including Mitsubishi, The Army, Hoover and Meat Promotion Wales.

“I joined Golley Slater because it is, quite simply, the best advertising agency in the region; with great people, great clients and an impressive reputation for award winning work,” said Carroll.

“Not only was the opportunity to be a part of the agency’s success story a huge pull for me but the chance to work in Cardiff was also a strong factor in my decision. Cardiff is a city with such a unique identity and to be given the opportunity to work in an environment surrounded by great businesses, new and old, was something I could never have passed up.”

He continued: “In terms of the agency’s product, the team is producing some of the best work around at present and is continuing to demonstrate its ability to think creatively and strategically. I look forward to ensuring that this continues and to helping grow the business further.”

The Drum reported in August that Sion Ashley-Jones was to leave the role of MD at Golley Slater Wales for family reasons.
