Red Bull Canimation is searching for creative talent, with the best animations entered getting the change to be featured on Channel 4 and in cinemas.

The competition, which ends 15 November, has three categories: stop-motion, CGI and drawn, with entries to be based on the blue-and-silver Red Bull can.

There are six different prizes available: one for students and one open in each categories. The prizes for students are internships at Aardman (stop-motion), The Mill (CGI) and 12foot6 (drawn), while the open prizes are a laptop and a copy of Stop Motion Pro HD (stop-motion), Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Premium 2012 (CGI) and Digicel Flipbook Pro HD6 (drawn).

Judges for the competition are: James Farrington, lead 3D animator for The Mill; Dave Anderson, co-founder of 12foot6; Tom Tagholm, creative director for 4Creative; Merlin Crossingham, creative director for Aardman; and Jayne Pilling, director of the British Animation Awards.
