Fitness firm Johnson Health Tech hires Souter for PR

Johnson Health Tech UK has appointed Manchester agency Souter to manage its national PR strategy for the next 12 months.

The fitness equipment firm has tasked Souter with managing its press office and promoting its ambassador programme Team Johnson.

The Stoke-based business has a range of athletes on its books including Olympians James Cracknell and Dr Tim Brabants. It will be Souter's job to generate news around these partnerships in the run up to London 2012 and beyond.

"Our role is to maintain a steady drumbeat of news in Johnson’s target trade media, while exploiting their ambassador programme to generate widespread consumer coverage," said agency managing director Sue Souter.
