Green Cave People has named Laurence Sassoon as managing director and Keith Terry as head of visual craft, the first senior hires for the company.

The two will work with agency principles Marc Cave and Malcolm Green, who launched the agency last month, on founding clients Telenor and Tetra Pak.

Sassoon joins from the creative communications agency Baby Creative, where he was a co-founder and managing partner. Terry is former creative director at DLKW Lowe, and prior to that was art director then creative director at DLKW.

Malcom Green, creative partner at Green Cave People, said: “Laurence and Keith will prove to be vital assets in the growth of the Green Cave People. Keith has a wealth of experience and talent and is one of the industry’s true craftsmen. He’s brave, passionate and a great bloke to have around in a start-up. I'm sure that he will be a real influence in the visual quality of our work.

“Laurence has had an impressive and varied career both within his own agency and others. A real entrepreneur, he will bring vigour and rigour to our clients' business as well as playing a major role in the development and growth of the agency.”
