Former Thames TalkBack head of production Oliver Davies joins UKTV
Oliver Davies has joined UKTV as head of digital delivery. The former head of production at TalkbackThames will be responsible for digital strategy across UKTV’s portfolio of channels.
Davies oversaw delivery of digital TV formats for hit shows such as the X Factor and The Apprentice, and the launch of the Britain's Got Talent website and iPhone app during his time at TalkbackThames.
His first task at UKTV will be to reinvigorate the websites of Dave, Good Food and Home – three of the broadcaster’s most popular channels.
Ben Hine, director of digital, innovation and platforms at UKTV said of the appointment: “Davies will be instrumental in helping to lead UKTV through its digital evolution and shaping our digital strategy across the business.”
