Paul Watson, a founding partner of The King's Arms, has left the creative agency to join production company Two Sugars as creative director.

Watson's role will be to help Manchester-based Two Sugars collaborate with agencies on commercials and film projects. He will also develop an online content division.

"I’ve always loved making commercials and the opportunity to get more involved in film-making and help shape the future direction of the company was too hard to resist," Watson said.

"I’m very proud of the work we did at The King’s Arms, but it was time for a change. We’ve wound things down massively over the past twelve months. Lynton [Hemsley, King's Arms partner] has now got to the point where he can go and chase his dream of becoming a painter and I’ve been looking for the right opportunity, this feels like a natural progression for me.”

Two Sugars was set up in October 2009 by the producer Michelle O’Brien and the BAFTA nominated Director, David Barnes. In that time they have produced jobs for clients such a Warburtons, NHS, Adidas and Hovis.
