The Drum understands that Golley Slater’s London office has not rebranded as The Den, as has been reported elsewhere.

Yesterday, it was reported by Campaign that the London office of Golley Slater had rebranded, but an insider from the agency has told The Drum that this is not the case.

It is understood that ‘The Den’ will be the new title of the agency’s digital team in London going forward, but that this will not affect any of the others working in the London office, which will continue to trade under the Golley Slater title.

The name was crowdsourced, with suggestions from 1,500 people, with a shortlist of five being chosen, and then the winner chosen by the agency's creative directors and musician Lilly Allen.

Updated:

Chris Lovell, CEO of Golley Slater confirmed that the London office had several operations within it, Golley Slater Advertising, Golley Slater PR, it's other PR agency Margaret Street and Golley Slater Digital, of which only the latter will rebrand.
