4oD app to launch on Xbox Live
Channel 4 has announced a deal with Microsoft to make an app of 4oD for Xbox 360’s online service, Xbox Live.
Launching ‘this festive season’, the 4oD app on Xbox LIVE will offer Xbox 360 gold subscribers the opportunity to catch up on Channel 4 or E4 programmes broadcast in the last 30 days.
Sarah Milton, head of VoD at Channel 4, said: "Continuing our strategy of making content available, on demand, where our viewers most want to watch it, we're delighted to be able to offer 4oD on Xbox LIVE."
This is not the only new partnership that has been launched with Xbox Live: it has been announced today that LOVEFiLM has also announced a partnership with Microsoft, which will see the film subscription company becoming an official Xbox LIVE integrated film service provider for the UK and Germany.
