The BBC has put out a tender for its £6m design services roster.

The corporation is replacing its existing design, marketing and communications framework, which consists of seven agencies, with a new contract split into two lots.

In the first lot, it is looking for a maximum of 10 agencies to form the new design services roster. This two year contract will see the chosen agencies supply "a wide range of marketing collateral to support the BBC's creative activites across all divisions".

The second lot is a standalone contract to design the BBC's annual report. This will go to one supplier and the contract will be worth an estimated £400,000.

Both contracts start in April next year and agencies will first have to submit a pre-qualification questionnaire. Expressions of interest must be in by 18 October.
