Facebook is to launch new tools which will aim to help aid brands understanding on the impact of social engagement.

The new tools will also aim to help develop the use of social campaign activity, offering new page insights, a public metric ‘People Talking About This’ feature on all pages and an expanded premium advertising unit.

The Facebook Page Insight Tools will help measure the value of social media activity for brands, with the ‘People Talking About This’ tool to appear on every page underneath ‘likes’ in order to highlight the conversations that are taking place about a brand or business.
