The Drum has highlighted 30 women under 30 working within the digital industry, who are currently held in high regard by their peers.

As digital isn’t thought of as being a traditionally female friendly industry, The Drum chose to highlight 30 individuals who are leading the field and will do so for some time to come.

Having worked in digital for over 10 years on 3 different continents, that is a ridiculous statement. I worked and work predominantly with women.

I would say there probably are more males in digital. I think somewhere in the region of 70 - 99% of web developers / programmers are male - I wouldn't agree with it classed as not female friendly though.
