Flash 11 to enable 3D acceleration

Flash 11 will make use of your home computer’s graphics card, enabling “console quality” games to be produced.

The latest version of Adobe’s video rendering software is being released next week and features the Stage 3D rendering package, previously codenamed “project molehill”. The update is released along with Air 3, Adobes cross-platform publisher.Adobe has already shown the capabilities of Flash 11 through new games Zombie Tycoon and Tanki Online.
