EasyJet has taken a cheeky pop at rival British Airways by parodying BA's new advertising strapline 'To Fly. To Serve.'

To Fly. To Save.

The budget airline ran its own campaign with the message 'To Fly. To Save.' in the weekend's papers.

In a clear nod to BA, EasyJet's ad copy reads: "When we launched 15 years ago, those four words summed up what we believed in. And they still do.

"We don’t need to paint them on the tailfins, like some advertising slogan. That would just be wasting your money."

British Airways unveiled its new strapline last week as it trumpeted the launch of its biggest ad campaign in a decade. But despite the fanfare the new slogan has divided critics.
