Toyota creates Social Snap Shot app with glue Isobar

Toyota Yaris has launched a Facebook app with glue Isobar called Social Snap Shot, which intends to deliver a snapshot of friends’ Facebook activity in a smart, animated infographic.

Unveiled last week, the app is designed to support the TV activity for Toyota, created by Saatchi & Saatchi, featuring the tagline ‘The Smart Money’s on Yaris’.

Social Snap Shot opens with a shot of the all-new Yaris, followed by a screen that personalises the app for each user. It reveals the latest developments of users’ friends, taken directly from their Facebook feed, including a pick of status updates and friends’ photos, events and links to help keep on top of Facebook news. Users can chose the update to be delivered daily, weekly or monthly.

“The Social Snap Shot is a fantastic way to engage our young target audience, capturing their Facebook highlights in a quick, easy and entertaining way and illustrating the Yaris’ promise to help them outsmart life's daily challenges.”
