Hindmarsh promoted to joint CEO of M&C Saatchi

Carrie Hindmarsh has been promoted to joint CEO of M&C Saatchi, working alongside CEO Lisa Thomas.

Formerly managing director, Hindmarsh has been promoted as acting creative director Mark Goodwin is formerly appointed as creative director of the agency.

Hindmarsh has risen through the ranks at the agency, joining in 1991 as a graduate trainee, before eventually being appointed as managing director in 2007.

In her role as joint CEO, she will be handed client responsibilities for Transport for London, ODA, Direct Line, Heinz and Vertu.

The agency is also currently in process of appointing an executive creative director to oversee all creative work across the UK group.

She will work with Thomas with the aim of driving the agency forward.

Yesterday M&C Saatchi announced a pre-tax profit growth of 46% to £7.1m.
