Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games appoints Four Communications to develop digital strategy

The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games organising committee has appointed Four Communications to develop its digital media strategy.

The appointment of the London digital agency to the contract which will see it work with the organising committee to develop the digital media strategy for the games as part of its marketing and communications strategy.

The contract award notice states that the value of the contract is £48,975 and that five offers were made as part of the tender appointment process.

A spokesperson for the for the Committee, explained: “The Organising Committee has appointed Four Communications to work with us to develop an innovative digital media strategy to raise the profile of the Games. Digital media will be at the heart of the marketing strategy, and will be the main platform for a number of key programmes such as ticketing, the volunteer programme and the Queen’s Baton Relay.

"They were awarded the contract because they scored highest throughout the process."
