Law firm Goldsmith Williams has appointed a head of marketing and a director of strategy and business development to its marketing team.

Andrea Stott (left), 45, has been appointed as director of strategy and business development, and has joined from The Implementation Group, where she was a director, specialising in change management and business development.

Fiona King (right), 49, has been appointed as head of marketing, and has joined from youth charity Rathbone. Fiona has 26 years in the financial sector, including 13 years at Britannia Building Society.

The company has said the appointments were made as part of an ‘overall marketing department review’, as it looks to develop its expertise in the field of the Alternative Business Structures.

Eddie Goldsmith, partner at Goldsmith Williams, said: “New ideas in a firm are certainly not enough in terms of development, which is why these additions to our company are important and will contribute greatly in communicating our vision.

“We recognise the need for experience, and both Fiona and Andrea provide great knowledge of developing marketing strategies for business change.”
