Mobile phone manufacturer INQ is working with start-up agency Albert on the roll out of its ‘social mobile’ handset, the INQ Cloud Touch in Canada.

INQ campaign

The handset claims to integrate both Facebook and a doubleTwist media player, with the launch campaign having both a social media and experiential focus targetting the youth market.

The campaign, that launched earlier this month, uses the theme ‘Express Yourself’ and aims to highlight the association between INQ and contemporary art across Canadian campuses.

Tom Mansbridge, head of communications for INQ, commented: “The INQ Cloud Touch has Facebook in its DNA. With deep Facebook integration and a unique Home Screen experience – the INQ Cloud Touch is designed to make it easier to express yourself - and our campaign is about encouraging our audience to discover that for themselves.”

Ian Christie, managing director of London-based Albert, added: “Working with INQ in such a competitive sector with a brand that is targeting one of the hardest to reach segments is a great challenge for us. At Albert, we have based our agency on being able to deliver smarter, quicker and more effective creative work and this is a great test bed for that belief.”
