Kitchen retailer Magnet has signed TV presenter Anna Ryder Richardson to head up its latest campaign to promote its three new collections.

Richardson has agreed a one-year deal to support the launch of the new ‘Essentially’, ‘Purely’ and ‘Uniquely’ ranges and will participate in a number of activities across traditional and social media channels.

Her involvement will include product development, vodcasts, radio activity, a styling photoshoot and contributing to a blog.

Ian Lambert, head of marketing for Magnet, said: “We wanted to work with an expert who has a recognised success in interior design and home styling.

“We have a number of really exciting projects planned for Anna and we’re sure she’ll have no problem getting under the skin of the brand. We feel that Anna’s passion for design and natural flare for home styling make her the perfect choice for Magnet and we are looking forward to working with her over the next 12 months.”

Anna Ryder Richardson said: “Interior design has been at the heart of my career for over 15 years and it’s something I’m still very passionate about.

“I was really excited by Magnet’s proposal. This will be the first campaign of this magnitude that I have worked on that uses a mixture of both traditional and social media.”
