MEC wins three-year contract with Dubai International Film Festival

The Dubai International Film Festival has appointed MEC as its media buying agency.

The event, which will be held between 7 – 14 Dec, will see the agency take on the three-year contract from incumbent OMD which also pitched alongside Mediavest and MediaCarat.

Mahsa Motamedi, DIFF director of marketing and sponsorship, said: “Media buying plays an important role in driving the Festival’s industry and community engagement, and MEC’s approach provided an exciting blend of both cutting-edge technology as well as its active engagement in all the spaces we want to be present in.”

Leo Burnett will continue as the Festival’s marketing and advertising agency, executing all DIFF creative and digital, while ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller will continue as the PR agency for the Festival.
