Word has reached The Drum that long running design firm Navyblue has closed its doors.

The company, which ran for 17 years in both Edinburgh and London, is said to have informed staff of the decision to place the company into liquidation last night.

The news follows the departure of co-founder and managing director Douglas Alexander in recent weeks.
