Sony Music Entertainment has launched a taxi advertising campaign to promote albums and singles for eleven artists under the Columbia record label with Out of Home International.

The advertisements, which began last week, will run for a month in central London. The taxis will showcase artwork from each artist’s album, as well as having tip seats which instruct the passengers to request the music they want to hear.

Passengers also have the chance to enter a competition to win a Columbia tote bag by using the QR code, texting the number, or visiting the Columbia website.

Jon Kehoe, managing director of Out of Home International, said: “Out of Home International were very excited to team up with Columbia to introduce this innovative use of taxi advertising. The taxi drivers are proud to be brand ambassadors of Sony Music Entertainment LTD, and were eager to have the new music on board to play to their passengers.”
