CIPR Merseyside+ group arranges ‘meet the media’ event
CIPR North West’s new regional sub-group, Merseyside+, has said that its first event for PR professionals will be a ‘meet the media’ evening.
The event, on Thursday 15 September at 6pm, is being held at the bar in Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool.
Erin Portsmouth, chair of CIPR North West, said: “It’s top of our agenda this year to develop more specific regional benefits to members and grow our fantastic programme of events for PRs – ensuring they always deliver on continuous professional development (CPD) points.
“The new Merseyside+ group will certainly help us to achieve this goal by creating excellent opportunities for communications professionals to develop and share their skills.”
Hems de Winter, managing director at Cheshire-based De Winter PR and lead of the Merseyside+ CIPR group, said: “It’s really exciting that we’ve got a group of people together who are passionate about PR and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills, as well as boost the profile of PR in the region.
