A meeting will be held in the Irish Parliament to discuss measures that can be taken to save The Irish Post, which closed over a fortnight ago.

The newspaper, owned by Cork-based company, Thomas Crosbie Holdings, is the subject of a campaign to attempt to revive the paper, which was the largest Irish community newspaper.

As a result, former staff and management at the newspaper will hold a meeting within parliament to discuss viable alternatives to continue the newspaper through the ‘Save the Irish Post’ campaign.
