Autoglass offers customers chance to star in next TV ad through Facebook app

Vehicle glass repair and replacement company Autoglass has launched a competition offering customers the chance to star in its next TV campaign.

The company has asked people to upload a creative photo or video of themselves with their vehicle through its Facebook application, which will give them the opportunity to win £3,000 and an iPad as well as star in its next TV advert.

The competition will run until 2 October, when managing director Matthew Mycock will select the most creative entry from the five which receive the most public votes.

David Meliveo, marketing director of Autoglass, said: “The new competition to star in our next TV ad reflects our commitment to putting customers at the heart of our brand.

“They already engage with us enthusiastically through our various channels and platforms and we hope this fun contest will cement and build upon that great relationship.

“We are searching for the most creative and imaginative video or photo and the winner will then be chosen to star alongside their favourite technicians on prime time TV," concluded Meliveo.
