Oprah Winfrey to appear live on Facebook
American chatshow Queen Oprah Winfrey is to substitute the TV screen for the computer screen in a one off live chat on Facebook on September 8.
It will see the tables turned on Winfrey as for once it will be the publics chance to ask questions during a one hour live stream from 21:30.
Anyone logging in to Facebookâs live wall at this time will be treat to the site of the American star fielding questions in real time.
Fans are also being invited to proffer their questions in advance for possible inclusion.
Winfrey is no stranger to social media, having amassed an impressive 7.2m followers on Twitter, although this is dwarfed by the viewing audiences on her television show.
Twitter traffic was said to have jumped by nearly quarter to 24% when the micro-blogging site was featured on the Oprah Winfrey show back in 2009.
