Hangar Seven has opened a new £1million fashion photography studio in London, saying fashion retailers are now under pressure to produce 35% more images than just two years ago.

Research by Hangar Seven revealed that on average many of the large retailers claimed to currently produce more than 500 images per week, but they have been struggling to find suppliers who can help them meet their requirements for on brand, stylised online imagery, catwalk video content and slick product management, against leaner photography budgets.

Andy Rosson, managing director of Hangar Seven, said: “All the services and facilities we offer have been specifically tailored to the exacting requirements of brands and retailers producing fashion images for today’s multi-channel consumer; that’s large volume, fast turn-around well managed fashion photography and catwalk video through to higher end advertising fashion shoots.

“Delivering creative and different seasonal fashion imagery and rich video content, faster than ever and within budget isn’t easy.”
