Marks & Spencer has announced that it has recruited David Gandy and Ryan Reynolds to front its new autumn campaign in conjunction with Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

Whiteley, who is also a Victoria’s Secret model and starred in Transformers, will star in a series of poses outside St Pancras Station, alongside Reynolds, the ex-husband of actress Scarlett Johansson.

The shoot is intended to promote the retailers high end ‘Autograph’ line by imbuing the wares with a sense of “beauty” and “exclusivity”.

Steve Sharp, M&S executive director, said: “On set, they worked together to deliver a mesmerising performance which allowed us to capture shots that literally sizzle with excitement and an air of mystery"

Super model Gandy meanwhile puts in a solo effort by draping himself over the handlebars of a vintage bike.

Lisa Snowdon, Jamie Redknapp and Twiggy will still front M&S's Women & Men ranges in the run up to Christmas.
