Holding site for National Football Museum launches

A holding site for the National Football Museum, due to open early 2012, has been created by Wonder Associates.

The words down the left hand side of the website for the different sections matches the branding for the museum created by Music.

The website asks users to join in with the countdown to the opening of the museum in Manchester by picking a number and ‘doodling’ a related fact.

Facts already on the page include ‘1 player to ever score a hat-trick in a World Cup final’ and ‘25 Yellow cards shown to Holland in the 2010 World Cup’.

The best entries will appear on the full National Football Museum website when it launches.

The website also asks visitors to ‘become part of the crowd’ by tweeting “I'm part of The Crowd at National Football Museum”.
