Do you know a marketer who deserves special recognition? If so, MiNetwork wants to hear from you as it invites nominations for the Public Vote section of MiAwards.

The Public Vote section of MiAwards gives the industry itself the opportunity to recognise and reward the individuals in the marketing industry who have achieved great things during the last year. Nominations are now being invited across a number of categories and once all nominations are received by 15th September they will go live online so votes can be cast.

Last year’s MiAwards saw Jon Harrison of Birmingham-based agency Unsuitable crowned as Marketing Personality of the Year, while Kingspan marketing director Chris Witte was named Marketing Director of the Year.

This year's MiAwards Public Vote categories are:

Marketing Director of the Year (Clientside)Marketing Personality of the Year (Client or Agencyside)Young Marketer of the Year (Client or Agencyside)MD of the YearCreative Director of the YearAgency Supplier of the Year

To nominate an individual in one of the above categories all you have to do is email MiNetwork with the name and company details of your nominee and include a 150 word reason as to why they deserve recognition. Please send all your nominations by email to Caroline Lotinga.

Richard Draycott, Managing Director of MiNetwork, said: “The Public Vote categories have proved very popular during the last two years and give the marketing industry itself the chance to recognise those who have really achieved great things. It is also a great chance for people to raise their profile and make themselves famous among their peers and across MiNetwork’s membership.”

The deadline for reports to be entered in to MiAwards 2011 is 26th August and the judging of those reports takes place on 15 September with marketers from Warburtons, Royal Mail, Red Letter Days, Metro Newspaper and The Dogs Trust sitting alongside a number of respected former agency bosses.

All MiNetwork members are reminded that they are entitled to at least two free MiAwards entries (five if you are an Elite member) so don’t miss out on your chance to enter. Visit the MiAwards website for further details.
