Manchester Pride, the annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival, has launched an iPhone app to help attendees find their way around this year.

The 10-day festival begins on Friday and the free app will guide revellers around essential facilities, the box office, wristband exchanges, stages and bars and clubs.

It also includes a What's About section to show the stages and times of the acts performing.

The app is being supported by Royal Bank of Scotland and was created by Better Than Paper.
