Social media trainer Rene Looper, owner of Tumind has been added to the Social Buzz Awards judging panel at the quest of social media users.

Looper was voted as the expert that social media users would most like to see judge this year’s entries for the Awards, with people voting through the Social Buzz blog, twitter feed and Facebook page.

Looper will round off the panel already in place, including Alastair Cox, EMEA team leader at Google Creative Services, Chris Jones, social media manager at BBC, Colin Gilchrist, social media strategy planning and training director at Digital Face, Paul Fabretti, director of digital strategy, at Origin Creative Design, Phil Adams, planning director at Blonde Digital, Dave Coplin, director of search, UK at Microsoft, Jeff Coghlan. managing director at Matmi and Zoe Macerlean, social media manager at Tesco.com.

Entries for the Social Buzz Awards will be accepted until later today (Friday 12 August.)
