Marketing chiefs from Warburtons, Royal Mail,Red Letter Days and Metro Newspaper will be speaking at a MiNetwork event in September after they have judged this year's MiAwards entries.

The event will take place on Thursday 15th September, just hours after the speakers have judged this year's MiAwards entries, the deadline for which is in around two weeks time.

Offering their opinions on what they look for in potential marketing services partners will be Richard Hayes of Warburtons, Angus Morrison of Royal Mail, Nick Button of Red Letter Days, Sophie Robinson of Metreo Newspaper and Jacquie O'Beirne of The Dogs Trust. Panelists will also take questions from the floor on what makes a good agency approach and what, ultimately, turns them off about agencies approaching them for new business.

Richard Draycott, managing director of MiNetwork, the growing organisation for ambitious agency owner/managers, said: "All clients are different and therefore what will work with one client will not work with another. What we will be asking the brands on the panel to do is offer attendees some insights into what turns clients on to an agency they may not know and also what turns them off an agency. We have recently run a number of new business events around the country and have heard new business tips from some great agencies such as Driven, Big Communications, Coolpink, Rippleffect, Origin, Chapter, Unsuitable and others. Now it is the clients turn to tell us what tricks work for them when choosing their agency partners.".

The panel debate takes place at The Ramada Jarvis from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and tickets are available now. Entrants to MiAwards can get a special discount to the panel event in the evening. To book tickets click here.

MiAwards is open to all agencies and clients in the UK with categories covering the best run marketing services agencies and the best marketing strategies and campaigns. For more details on entering MiAwards click here.
